How to play Asteroid
Players control a triangular ship in an asteroid field – rotate left/right to aim, thrust to move forward (the ship has inertia and continues drifting), and fire to shoot.
The goal is to destroy all asteroids—large ones split into two mediums, which then split into two smalls when hit.
Players must also dodge UFOs that appear randomly and fire back (small UFOs aim more accurately).
An extra life is awarded every 10,000 points.
Hyperspace can be used as an emergency escape, but it may destroy the ship.
Tips and Tricks
Destroy large asteroids early
Keep moving to avoid getting trapped
Avoid excessive continuous thrust
Small asteroids move faster and are more dangerous
